This Mom’s Photo Proves it: Never Underestimate Car Seat Safety
A photo is making its way around the internet, demonstrating just how important car seat safety is.
Jenna Rabberman took to Facebook to share a photo after her family’s Honda CRV was totaled after another driver ran a red light and crashed into their vehicle. At the forefront of the image are two car seats belonging to her three-year-old and 6-week-old sons. Despite the wreckage depicted in the photo, the boys’ car seats appear completely intact.
“This is why you buckle your kids into their car seats correctly every single time,” Rabberman captions the photo. “Even when they scream because the straps are tight. Even when they complain about the chest clip or being rear facing.”
Rabberman and her kids were only a few minutes from home when their vehicle was hit.
“My boys escaped without a scratch but the paramedics told me it could have been very different had I not taken the extra 2 minutes to be sure they were buckled correctly,” says Rabberman.
